What this log shows

In a station’s Settings tab, the Security card’s action menu includes Get security logs — it requests the security log from the station, a technical record of security-related events reported over OCPP (see section 5.1 Accessing the advanced menu for how to reach a station’s tab bar). It sits alongside the station’s certificate management (see section 6.5) and is only available at the Enterprise and Partner tiers.

This is a different log from the station’s general activity log covered in section 5.11, which lists connector, status, and charging events and is available at every tier. The security log is scoped specifically to security-related OCPP protocol events.

Reading the log

Each row is a security-related event the station has reported.

Access

Viewing this log is read-only — it does not send anything to the station — but entries can reveal security-sensitive detail about the station’s configuration, so treat this section with the same care as the certificate management it sits alongside. Because the security log lives in the Settings tab’s Security section, it shares that section’s permission with the certificate management tools described in section 6.5.
