Create subscription invoice (B2B)

Updated · 2 min read

Reaching the page

From the Subscription Invoices list, click the + button (see section 15.3). The page is served at /subscription-invoices/add-invoice.

Issuing a subscription invoice is a financial action. The chatbot can prepare and submit one on your behalf, but always asks for your explicit confirmation before submitting — review the client, line items, and totals first.

Creating the invoice

  1. Select the Client or Partner the invoice is for. Their assigned subscription plan (see section 15.5) loads automatically, together with any custom rule line items defined on that plan.
  2. The billing details section adapts to whether the client or partner is a company or an individual.
  3. A live preview recalculates the invoice total as you work, from:
    • the AC and DC station and connector counts on their account
    • the price per unit set on their subscription plan
    • the commission percentage applied to charging value
    • any custom rule line items, each mapped to a unit — AC connectors, DC connectors, AC stations, DC stations, or a one-time charge
  4. Add or remove extra line items for this invoice only; this does not change the underlying plan.
  5. Submit to generate the invoice.

If the selected client or partner has no subscription plan assigned, the preview shows zero values instead of calculated totals. The Commission field is not validated — the platform currently accepts negative or unrealistically large values without warning, so check it carefully before submitting. If the backend rejects the submission, an error message appears and the invoice is not created.
